There are other ways, of course, to bring this seasonal theme into your home. Master the art of the paper snowflake once and for all.

Watercolor cards (Strathmore Watercolor Cards, 31/2″ by 47/8″).
Acrylic paint.
Shine.
Felt snowflakes (Wool Hearts Die-Cut Felt Snowflakes in Baby Blue and Blue Snow).

Guidelines.
Preparation the paper. Start with a card that can stand up to glue, or, if you want to add a background color, paint. Paint the card, add text, and glue on shine– or keep it plain, depending upon the style you think up.

Next, decorate your card with felt. The pieces come in all shapes, sizes, and colors; we opted for pastel-blue snowflakes.
