\nWhat you need
\nProducts
\nWhite beeswax
\nDouble boiler
\nWire
\nDry pinecones
\nDrying rack
\nSalt of choice (Epsom salts, salt, or salt replacement).
\nRaffia.
\nHow to do it.
\nSTEP 1.
\nMelt wax in a double boiler to between 150 and 175 degrees.<\/p>\n

ACTION 2.
\nHook a length of wire onto top of pinecone and, holding wire, carefully dip pinecone into hot wax.<\/p>\n

STEP 3.
\nSet pinecone on drying rack and enable to cool for a few minutes.<\/p>\n

ACTION 4.
\nDip pinecone into wax again and instantly coat with salt. Depending on the salt utilized, the flames of the starters will burn a particular color. (Epsom salts develop a white flame; salt develops a yellow flame; salt replacement creates a violet flame.).<\/p>\n
