Balloon Clouds

This concept comes from Digital Editor Alexandra Churchill. The cloud balloon imagined here was utilized as a decoration for our “Up, Up, and Away” themed baby shower.

A balloon cloud can be made in any size you ‘d like, but we advise measuring the length of the table ahead of time to figure out preferred protection. Envisioned here: we used roughly 25 balloons to hover above a table that determines 31 x 23 inches. When choosing balloons, you can utilize a mix of shimmer and matte all-white balloons or a spectrum of sizes for added measurement and depth.

Pump up at least 25 balloons. (Tip: A portable balloon pump will help inflate latex balloons much quicker. To use, slide a balloon onto the nozzle– specially developed to grip the balloon by the neck– pump it to wanted size, get rid of, and connect off.).

Cut a length of twine and tie two balloons. Repeat so you have two sets of tied balloons.

Connect the 2 sets of balloons into a quad.

Tie more balloons to form a cluster; use smaller sized size balloons to fill gaps. Use double-sided tape to stick them in location.

When balloon cloud has reached wanted size, attach to a wall using double-sided tape or suspend from the ceiling utilizing a length of twine and tape.
